No assembly required. Bowl can be removed for cleaning. Medium or Large Memel fire pit is also available with a stainless steel barbecue grill grate. It comes with wooden handles and can be positioned in 6 different heights. Rusting or Stainless Steel cover/lid is a great addition to the matching fire pit. We would recommend the stainless steel cover. It is a nice thickness and converts the piece into a nice table to set drinks on when not being used for a fire.
