Corten Steel, also known as weather resistant steel, is a very strong steel alloy.
As soon as Corten Steel garden planter is exposed to the elements it will naturally weather and develop a protective layer of rust.
This natural coating of rust provides protection against further corrosion.
Our Corten Steel products are delivered in an un-rusted state and the weathering process will take about 4-5 months to complete.
The ring slopes inward so excess oil and liquid will not drip down from the grill plate. The ring can be cleaned simply by oiling it and scraping off residue with a spatula. Apply a final coat of oil to the grill plate before storing to prevent rust. Now the grill is ready to be used again. So easy to maintain!
