 Corten Steel Planters

These planters are made from high-quality Corten-A sheet steel. This type of metal has the unique property of forming a very dense oxide skin (rust layer). Rusting is impossible. Due to the dense oxide skin, the deeper material is shielded from oxygen, which greatly slows down oxidation while corrosion persists. The Corten steel planter comes unroasted, in the grey metal colour. The brown/orange rust layer forms within a few weeks to months, no treatment is required. During the rust process, the planter can release. Corten steel is a metal alloy that is made of iron, and copper, phosphorus, silicon, nickel and chrome have been added.

The top edge is double converted, this gives the planter a timeless and robust look. The rust color gives a warm look and makes these planters applicable in modern and classic gardens. The thickness of the material depends on its height. Planters up to a height of 600 mm have a thickness of 1.5 mm, from a height of 800 mm, the material is 2 mm thick.
It has been extensively tested that these strengths are sufficient for the planters.This planter is a modular steel planter that comes as a kit. The planter word is made of loose plates and corner pieces. The containers are completely blind to be coupled. There are no confirmations in sight. Thanks to our modular system, very large dimensions are possible. By using corner pieces, unique shapes are possible that are not available anywhere else as standard. Planter is not equipped with a base plate.
