The bowl's surface is sanded to ensure natural rust forms over time. This product is very durable and will last long years. The carbon steel used in manufacturing this fire pit bowl will develop a nice patina over time. Bowl is made from solid rusting (carbon) steel and it arrives looking very shiny, almost chrome-like. It would rust once exposed to water. Usually, this natural process takes a couple of weeks.
The Fire Pit 27.5-Inch Spark Screen keeps sparks and embers within your fire pit for additional protection. It also prevents flying embers from littering your patio.
Made with Stainless Steel, the mesh screen offers the best corrosion resistance. It has 4 handles on top to easily access the fire. For extra protection, it has a high-temperature black paint.
